Jaigaon Police Arrest Three Accused, Recover Stolen Items Within 24 Hours
Jaigaon Police achieved a significant breakthrough by arresting three accused persons along with the recovery of stolen property within 24 hours of receiving a theft complaint.According to sources, a complaint regarding theft was lodged on the 18th, following which an investigation was immediately initiated by ASI Mehebub Habib under the leadership of Officer-in-Charge Mingma Sherpa. Acting swiftly, the police team successfully traced the case and recovered the stolen items within a day.
The recovered articles include two Bhutan gas cylinders, one Samsung Android mobile phone, and several other items. Based on the investigation, three accused were arrested. They have been identified as Noor Hossain, Bijoy Barman, and Shafikul Islam, all residents of the Guabari area.
On Tuesday, the arrested accused were produced before the Alipur court for further legal proceedings.
The prompt action by Jaigaon Police has been appreciated by local residents, highlighting the effectiveness and dedication of the police force in maintaining law and order.
