📰 “Sikkim – The Silk Route Drive” Flagged Off with 17 Supercars at Atal Setu Bridge

The much-anticipated “Sikkim – The Silk Route Drive” was officially flagged off today at the iconic Atal Setu Bridge in Rangpo, marking the beginning of a spectacular three-day motoring journey across Sikkim’s breathtaking landscapes. The ceremonial flag-off was conducted by Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Sikkim, Mr. C.S. Rao, along with the Secretary, Tourism & Civil Aviation Department, in the gracious presence of Ms. Hondala Gyaltsen and APS to HCM (Gangtok), Mr. Tshering Wangchuk Lepcha.
Organised in collaboration with the Government of Sikkim and the Black Cat Division under the Trishakti Corps of the Indian Army, the Super Car Rally is a self-funded and self-driven initiative led by the Mumbai-based Super Car Route Group.
Over the next three days, the supercar convoy will traverse key destinations across Sikkim, showcasing the state as one of India’s premier locations for luxury motoring experiences. The drive aims to revive the historic Silk Route while offering participants a unique blend of adventure, cultural immersion, and natural beauty.
The event also witnessed the presence of Councillor, Rangpo Nagar Panchayat, Mr. Pinku Kumar Prasad, SDM Rangpo, Ms. Sujata Subba, officials from the Tourism and Civil Aviation Department, various line departments, organisations, and a large number of enthusiastic locals.
