PM Modi’s Strong Message on Delhi Blast: “The Guilty Will Not Be Spared”
Thimphu (Bhutan), Tuesday:
Following the deadly suicide car bomb explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort that claimed nine lives, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has issued a strong statement, vowing that those responsible will face strict action.
Speaking in Bhutan’s capital, Thimphu, the Prime Minister said,
“Those behind this cowardly attack will not be spared. The perpetrators will be brought to justice soon.”
Calling the blast an assault on the nation’s peace and security, PM Modi affirmed that India’s fight against terrorism would continue with even greater resolve. He extended condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.
Meanwhile, Delhi Police and national investigation agencies have reached the blast site and begun a detailed probe. Preliminary reports suggest that the explosives were planted inside a car parked near the Red Fort.
The government has directed all security agencies to remain on high alert and ensure top-level security measures across the country.
