704 Grams of Brown Sugar Seized in Joint STF–Raiganj Police Operation; One Arrested
Raiganj: Acting on credible intelligence, a joint team of the Special Task Force (STF), West Bengal, and Raiganj Police District conducted a successful operation near Siliguri More in Raiganj, leading to the seizure of 704 grams of brown sugar from the sole possession of an आरोपी.
According to preliminary investigation, the contraband was procured from Kaliachak in Malda district and was being transported with the intention of supplying it to Purnia in Bihar.
The accused has been taken into custody, and further investigation is underway to identify other individuals involved in the trafficking network and to ascertain the full route and distribution chain of the seized narcotics.
Police officials stated that the operation marks a significant step in curbing inter-state drug trafficking in the region.
