RBP Officers Attend Specialized Training on Cryptocurrency and Dark Web Crimes
Five officers from the Royal Bhutan Police (RBP) are participating in a three-day specialized training programme on the Investigation of Cryptocurrency and Dark Web Crimes, being held from 1–3 December 2025. The training is funded by the Government of India under the Project Tied Assistance initiative.
Hosted by the Central Detective Training Institute (CDTI), Jaipur, the programme brings together law-enforcement personnel from both India and Bhutan. The course is designed to enhance the capabilities of investigators in tackling emerging cyber-enabled crimes, particularly those involving digital currencies and illicit activities on the dark web.
The RBP expressed its gratitude to the Government of India for its continued support in strengthening capacity building and deepening cooperation in law-enforcement initiatives.
