Mission Nasha Mukt Singtam: Woman Held With 2,880 Drug Capsules
Under the ongoing Mission Nasha Mukt Singtam initiative, Singtam Police recorded a significant success on Tuesday by arresting a woman and recovering 2,880 capsules, believed to be Spasmo and Pengee Plus.
Based on specific intelligence inputs, a police team led by SHO PI Sher Bahadur Manager stopped the suspect, identified as Roshni Chettri, who was reportedly transporting the capsules concealed in her bag. To maintain fairness and transparency, the search and seizure were carried out in the presence of SDM Rabdang Roshan Subba and a local councillor.
According to officials, this action represents another strong move in the fight against drug misuse and illegal trafficking in the Singtam area. Police authorities have strengthened monitoring efforts and reiterated their resolve to take firm measures against anyone involved in unlawful drug activities.
The accused has been placed under custody, and further investigation is in progress.
