30-Day Tailoring Training Programme Concludes Successfully in Jaigaon
Jaigaon, December 1, 2025: The 30-day “Tailoring Training Programme,” which had been underway for the past month, concluded today with a dignified closing ceremony marked by enthusiasm and appreciation. The event was conducted by Shri Sumit Malik, Deputy Commandant, under the guidance of Shri Dheeraj Kumar, Acting Commandant and Second-in-Command of the 53rd Battalion, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Simalabari–Falakata.
The programme was organised at the Saraswati Shishu Mandir School Hall, Bhulan Chowpati, located under ‘D’ Company, Jaigaon, where all trainees and invited dignitaries were present.
The month-long training was successfully executed under the supervision of Mrs. Babli Minj, Secretary of the NGO “Sanskar Welfare Academy.” A total of 50 women participants from the operational area of ‘D’ Company, Jaigaon, actively took part in the initiative and received hands-on training in various tailoring and stitching skills.
During the closing ceremony, the trainees shared their experiences from the 30-day programme and showcased the tailoring samples they had created. Their work was highly appreciated by the officials and guests, who encouraged them with applause and praise.
Assistant Commandant Shri Vipan Sharma of the 53rd Battalion was also present on the occasion. The achievements of the participants were commended, and they were motivated to utilise their newly acquired skills to become self-reliant in the future.
