Major Success in Anti-Drug Drive by Birpara Police
Birpara Police scored a major success in their continued campaign against drug trafficking with a late-night operation carried out on Friday in Khudiram Pally, under the jurisdiction of Birpara Police Station.
Based on reliable inputs, the police conducted a raid at the house of a suspected drug peddler. Upon noticing the police presence, the suspect fled the premises and remains at large. During the search operation, officers recovered a substantial quantity of banned narcotic substances from the house.
The seizure included 19,200 capsules of Proxyvon Plus along with 4,200 narcotic tablets, highlighting the extent of the illegal trade being carried out from the location.
A case has been registered under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act, and police teams are actively working to track down and arrest the absconding accused.
Senior police officials reiterated that such firm actions demonstrate their strong resolve to root out the drug menace from society, adding that the drive against narcotics will continue relentlessly.
