New Delhi, November 10:
Gold and silver prices witnessed a strong surge on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) today, with both metals recording substantial gains during morning trade.
Around 10 a.m., gold prices jumped by ₹1,392 per 10 grams, bringing the rate of 24-carat gold to ₹112,459 per 10 grams. So far, gold has recorded a low of ₹121,768 and a high of ₹122,500 per 10 grams, reflecting a significant upswing in market movement.
Silver, too, experienced a remarkable rally, once again crossing the ₹1.5 lakh per kilogram mark. As of 10:09 a.m., silver rose by ₹2,942 per kilogram, trading at ₹150,670 per kilogram. It has recorded a low of ₹149,540 and a high of ₹150,799 per kilogram today.
Experts attribute the rise to global economic uncertainties, festive demand, and fluctuating dollar rates, which have driven investors toward safe-haven assets like gold and silver.
With the current momentum, analysts suggest that the bullish trend in precious metals may continue in the coming weeks if international market cues remain favorable.
