Falakata Police Seize Illicit Liquor, One Arrested
Continuing its strict action against illegal liquor activities, Falakata Police Station carried out a successful raid in the Sinhagarh Market area.
Acting on source information, Assistant Sub-Inspector Tapash Roy along with his team conducted the operation and seized around 42.85 litres of illicit liquor from the possession of an accused person.
The accused was arrested during the raid, and police have initiated specific legal action under the relevant sections of law.
Police officials stated that regular operations against illegal liquor trade and other unlawful activities will continue across the district.
