Minor Detained in Connection with Burglary Attempt at RCSC Office in Thimphu
According to police, the incident took place on Monday night and was reported to authorities by an administrative officer on Tuesday morning. Acting on a tip-off, police identified and detained the suspect later the same day.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the juvenile allegedly forced open the office door and damaged window glass. However, no items were reported missing from the premises.
Police said the suspect has confessed to the act and claimed it was committed while he was under the influence of alcohol and solvents. The matter is currently under investigation, and further action will be taken in accordance with the law.
