Illegal Dumping and Littering at Airport Viewpoint Captured on CCTV
According to officials, several groups of individuals were observed gathering at the location and disposing of waste in clear violation of existing Waste Management Regulations. The acts were captured on CCTV cameras installed at the site, and the recorded footage has provided clear evidence of the offences, including identifiable vehicle registration numbers.
The Dzongkhag Administration has directed the individuals identified through the CCTV footage to report to the Dzongkhag Environment Officer or the Thromde Office at the earliest. Officials have warned that failure to report voluntarily will result in further action, including follow-up measures in coordination with the traffic police.
Authorities have urged the public to act responsibly and support efforts to keep public spaces clean, reminding residents that strict action will be taken against those who violate waste management rules.
