Bhutan–Vietnam Sangha Friendship Association Established
Punakha | The Central Monastic Body of Bhutan and the Viet Nam Buddhist Sangha today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish the Bhutan–Vietnam Sangha Friendship Association, marking a significant step toward strengthening spiritual cooperation and cultural exchange between the two Buddhist communities.
The signing ceremony was held at the main congregation hall of Punakha Dzong, in the presence of senior monastic representatives from both countries. The event also featured the official launch and unveiling of the plaque of the Bhutan–Vietnam Sangha Friendship Association.
The newly formed association aims to promote closer ties through shared Buddhist values, monastic exchanges, collaborative spiritual activities, and cultural engagement, further deepening the longstanding bonds of friendship and mutual respect between Bhutan and Viet Nam. Visit
