In a commendable initiative, the Jaigaon Police have recovered 40 stolen and lost mobile phones and handed them back to their rightful owners. A special ceremony was held on Sunday at the Jaigaon Police Station, where Officer-in-Charge Mingma Lama personally returned the devices.

According to OC Mingma Lama, complaints regarding stolen and missing mobile phones had been registered from different parts of the Jaigaon Police Station jurisdiction. Acting on the instructions of the Superintendent of Police, Alipurduar, the team used advanced technology and tracking systems to trace the devices.

Following verification, all 40 recovered phones were successfully returned to their owners.

The recipients expressed their gratitude and joy, praising the Jaigaon Police for their swift action and use of technology in resolving public grievances. Many thanked the police administration for their prompt and effective efforts.

This initiative has further strengthened public trust in the Jaigaon Police and highlighted their commitment to community-oriented policing.
