Two Class III Students from Trongsa Praised for Honesty After Returning Lost Handbag
On 21 May 2026, at around 2:30 PM, while returning home from school, the students found a handbag lying beside the roadside near Sherabling. The bag contained Nu. 4,590 in cash along with a Citizenship Identity Card.
Showing exemplary responsibility, the two children immediately handed over the bag to Trongsa Police Station. Through their honest act, the cash and important documents were successfully returned to the rightful owner, Mrs. Tandin Wangmo of Baling, Langthel Gewog, Trongsa.
The Royal Bhutan Police expressed sincere appreciation to the students, stating that their honesty, integrity, and sense of responsibility are inspiring examples for society and reflect the strong values that help build trust within the community.
