Swift Breakthrough in Samuktala Theft Case: Three Accused Held, Cash Recovered
Alipurduar District Police have made significant progress in a recent theft case reported under Samuktala Police Station.
The case, registered as Samuktala PS Case No. 132/26 dated April 19, 2026, under Section 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), pertains to the theft of approximately ₹3 lakh from Hangout Restaurant cum Bar located at Durgabari in Samuktala.
Police have successfully arrested all three accused persons involved in the case, including one Child in Conflict with Law (CCL), aged 16 years.
During the course of police custody, a sum of ₹1,23,750 has been recovered so far. Efforts are ongoing to recover the remaining stolen amount and to establish all aspects related to the case.
Further investigation is currently underway.
