Two Arrested in Paro Knife Attack Case
Thimphu, Bhutan:
Thimphu Police have arrested two suspects in connection with the knife attack in Paro that left a 25-year-old man critically injured in the early hours of December 7. Click Here
The arrests were made nearly two weeks after the incident. According to police sources, the suspects were identified by the victim and have been named as 21-year-old Dorji Ganzin, popularly known as rapper Cutie, and Kelden Dorji, also known as Gunda Kelden. Police, however, declined to share further details regarding the circumstances of the arrest or the progress of the investigation.
The December 7 attack had caused serious concern in Paro after the victim sustained critical injuries from the knife assault. Authorities have indicated that investigations are ongoing, and more information will be released at an appropriate time.
