Nichula Gewog Bailey Bridge Inaugurated in Dagana
Dagana: A new Bailey Bridge constructed at Yarpheling under Nichula Gewog, Lhamoizingkha Drungkhag, Dagana Dzongkhag, was formally inaugurated on 17th October 2025. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Dasho Drungpa of Lhamoizingkha Drungkhag and the Lam of Pelden Choeling Lhakhang.
The bridge, constructed under the High Impact Community Development Project (HICDP), stands as a symbol of the continued friendship and cooperation between Bhutan and India. It is expected to greatly enhance connectivity for local communities, improve access to essential services, and facilitate economic opportunities in the region.
Community members expressed their appreciation for the timely completion of the project, noting that the new bridge will significantly ease transportation and contribute to overall socio-economic development in Nichula Gewog.
