Leadership Training for High-Performing Teams Begins for Bhutan’s Civil Service
Thimphu, October 20: The Royal Civil Service Commission, Royal Government of Bhutan, has launched a transformative training programme titled “Building High-Performing Leadership and Teams”, aimed at enhancing leadership capacity, collaboration, and innovation across the civil service.
The training brings together Dzongdags and executive representatives from central agencies on a shared platform for learning, reflection, and growth. It is being conducted in partnership with the Center for Transformation and Innovation, USA, marking an important milestone in strengthening leadership alignment between central and local administrations.
The programme is inspired by the visionary guidance of His Majesty The King, whose wisdom continues to shape the values and principles of public service in Bhutan. The training seeks to nurture leaders who lead with empathy, clarity, and a deep sense of national purpose.
As Bhutan’s civil service continues to take on broader economic and developmental responsibilities, the initiative aims to equip leaders with the right mindset, tools, and strategies to deliver meaningful results that reflect the nation’s values of integrity, service, and excellence.
This leadership development programme represents a significant step toward building a responsive, accountable, and innovative civil service dedicated to advancing Bhutan’s long-term vision of progress, harmony, and good governance.
