The Topping Out Ceremony of the Royal Centre for Infectious Diseases was held today in Gidakom, graced by the Hon’ble Health Minister and His Excellency the Ambassador of Japan to Bhutan.
This milestone celebrates the steady progress of this vital national facility — made possible through the generous grant aid of USD 26 million from the Government and people of Japan.
With the project now 56.16% complete, the RCID stands as a testament to the strong partnership and enduring friendship between Bhutan and Japan, dedicated to strengthening Bhutan’s healthcare system and preparedness for the future.
